“From top to bottom, from Haldi to Sangeet to ceremony to late night pizza, this wedding was a manifestation of joy. We helped set it up with warm colors, gorgeous flowers, party lighting, and it helped that the weather was perfect…but nothing we did could match the exuberant love and delight that the family and guests brought to the party.
It is truly amazing to see a hundred people dancing Bhangra together. Sometimes they looked like they were flying, and it was absolutely magical. The joy was in the dancing, in the huge smiles, in the rainbow of saris and dresses, and even the crowd’s playful groans when it was time to get in the shuttle to go home…there was not a joyless moment this entire weekend.
