Well hello there…
Welcome! This is a new step in my journey, and I’d like for you to accompany us as my family & I take a new wild ride. This blog’s main goal is to ultimately follow along with the trials and tribulations as my husband & I take a huge leap of faith in ourselves and move our family across the big blue ocean. Originally from England, I moved to America with my parents & two older brothers quite some time ago. I have always wanted to move back and now after years of hoping & wishing, we will be starting our next step.

Blogging, it’s not really my thing. I’ve never done it and to be honest I’m not much of a writer, so please bear with me as I start this new chapter. I just really hope that I can stick with it. You know you start many things in your life and you always have great meaning and purpose to finish it, but life gets in the way of things and before you know it you have this tapestry you started 15+ years ago(mum) or the wall paper you intended on putting up, but yet it is somehow still in the wrapping. I’m being intentional and accountable for myself, because I have to get these blog ideas that have been racing though my brain for the past several months out and in actual words.
I’m too critical on myself, because in my mind, if it can’t look and sound great, it shouldn’t be out there in the world. Who would want to read a silly blog like mine, I’m way too harsh on myself and then it never gets done. Recently I read a book by Becca Pountney titled - Done Is Better Than Perfect and you know what Becca has taught me? just get out there and do it. It doesn’t matter about the typos or run-ons, if I try to create it up to my standards then it will never get done. I know I will look back at this first rendition of my website and blog and think how awful sounding I was and how much I have learned, but at least I will be happy that I started. This blog will evolve over time and I only hope that I can help out a few readers, weather it be knowledge about the wedding industry or resources about the move abroad. I hope I am able to give someone else in my shoes down the line the courage to take the next step. Enjoy this ride with us.
